Rock n Roll Stamping

I couldn’t wait to ink up The Whooo’s Your Valentine stamp set again!  I am sneaking in under the wire to enter The Paper Players Sketch Challenge.  Here is the original sketch design-

I stamped my white cardstock in a random pattern to create my own patterned paper.  I used the Rock n’ Roll technique.  I stamped my heart image in Blush ink and then rolled the edges in Hollyhock.  This technique will help give you more mileage out of your stamps by achieving a different look than just solid stamping.  I added a little silver glitz to my center heart for some added texture and bling. My borders were cut with the Cricut Artiste cartridge.

If you have never tried Rock n’ Roll stamping, here is a video from Close To My Heart that can walk you through the process!
