Inspire. Create. Sketch Challenge

I am back with another peony card! I just love these flowers!  I was blessed to actually have had similar ones growing at my house.  I say had, because either it was my lack of a green thumb or the harsh winters…they failed to come back!  I miss their brillant blooms! I am using the round shape of the flower as a stand in for the circle element at the sketch challenge at Inspire.Create. Challenges.

I added some texture to my card, allowing the flower to remain center stage.  My white panel is dry embossed.  I add a tiny bit of sparkle to my Thank You sentiment. The little bit of burlap was keeping with the sketch while adding more texture.  My peony was colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with Gamsol.  Lastly I popped up my flower image for more dimension.
