Playing with lots of texture today for a fun layered sunflower card! My card is based on the sketch challenge at Sketch Saturday. I just received this fun layered sunflower die by Honeybee Stamps and had to play with it! Here is the original sketch design-
I did include all of the sketch elements on my card, my gorgeous sunflower just happens to cover many of them up! I dry embossed Toffee cardstock with the Wood Panel Embossing folder. I then sponged on Toffee ink to bring out the woodgrain. I cut the panels into planks to go along with the sketch design. My sunflower was cut in Saffron, New England Ivy and Cocoa. Details were added with Copics and gel pens. Each layer was adhered with 3-D foam tape for added dimension.
My sentiment is from the super versatile For All Occasions stamp set. This set of 26 stamps is a great addition to your stamp collection. I stamped the sentiment in Cocoa ink and added in gold highlights with a gel pen.
