Little Boy Birthday Card

My son had a few birthday parties to attend. I quickly assembled a few cards from the sketch over at Sketch N Stash.  My paper line is the Little Boy line by Echo Park.  My stamp set is a retired set by Close To My Heart, D1184 Flying High.I stamped a second car and mounted with pop dots on my original image to give the card more dimension. Here is the original sketch design-

I am hoping the add flowers was just an option!  This is my first time playing at Sketch N Stash…but I can see the site quickly becoming a favorite place to play!  My most neglected item used was the stamp set.  A super cute set that was retired long ago.  I saved it for making scrapbook pages.  The set has now seen ink on just about every image!  The paper is new to my stash.

Have you ever thought of making your own wrapping paper?  I buy white or kraft paper in large rolls.  You can either get these in the shipping supplies section or from a teacher supply store.  Super inexpensive.  With your collection of stamps and inks, you have a ready supply of wrapping paper for any occasion.  Here is a look at the present-

The random stamping method goes by quickly.  My youngest, who is 5 even helped make the wrapping paper.

I have also entered my card in the following challenges:
