Loads of Birthday Fun!

I totally missed out on playing in the Seize the Birthday Challenge last week, so I was determined to get my card made in time this week!  This is Masculine week, the perfect opportunity for me to break out the NEW Later Sk8r papers by Close To My Heart!  What little boy does not love dump trucks???  The dump truck is part of a NEW stamp set called Fast and Furious, which features trucks, cars and various sayings to go along with them.  I stamped my dump truck in various colors and then assembled with pop dots for added dimension. I filled the back of the truck with presents for the birthday boy! My decorative shape and layers was cut with the Cricut Art Philosophy Collection.

 

 The Workshop on the Go kit also includes a great assortment of rubber shapes that coordinate with the paper pack.  I added a couple of the rubber shapes to the wheels on my truck.  The shapes are self-adhesive, so you only have to peel and stick.

For the inside of my card…I created my own sentiment in Microsoft Word.  I wanted a cutesy type saying for my birthday card and none of my stamps seem to fit.  I used RGB codes to match my cardstock and inks.
