I so love this sentiment and wish it to all of you! This sentiment is part of the new stamp set, Lucky to Know You. I created my card with St. Patrick’s Day in mind. I don’t send out a lot of St. Patrick’s Day cards, but do send a few to close friends and family. Here is a look at the complete set, which works for so much more than just St. Patrick’s Day-
When I saw the sketch challenge at As You See it Challenge, this stamp set instantly came to mind. The challenge is pretty much a blank slate, but I took full advantage of the sentiment portion. Here is the original sketch design if you would like to play along-
To create my card, I started by stamping my sentiment in Evergreen ink. I then added a strip of gold shimmer trim and a random border of four leaf clovers. The panel was then cut with a stitched die and mounted onto Evergreen cardstock. A touch of color was added with Copic markers. A few gold glitter gems complete the card.
All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:
- C1967 Lucky to Know You Stamp Set
- 1385 White Daisy Cardstock
- X6030 Evergreen Cardstock
- Z6512 Evergreen Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad
- Z1985 Gold Shimmer Trim
- Z3312 Gold Glitter Gems
- Copic Markers
I have also entered my card in the following challenges:

That’s a great St Patrick’s Day card! I’d not thought of using the blank space for a large sentiment but it works well for that. Love that strip of clover leaves – perfect! Thanks for joining us at As You See It.
Thank you, loved the sketch!
Allisa your Irish blessing is the perfect way to fill that large panel and I love the clover leaf border too and those touches of gold add some proper leprachaun-inspired sparkle! Thanks for playing along with our sketch challenge over at As You See It!
Emerald green and gold are always such a pretty combination. Your card is lovely. Thanks so much for thinking of us at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers with your glitter card!
Ohhhhhhh love this!!!!
I got married on St. Patrick’s Day so it is a special one for me…shamrocks and one of my fave Irish blessings to boot.
