I pulled out some old favorites to create a fishing themed, masculine birthday card. One of my favorite things about stamping is the ability to customize your creations. I wanted a fishing theme card, but could not find the just right papers. I solved the problem, by creating my own. I chose a woodgrain paper from the retired Seas the Day Collection. I then inked up a fish pattern with the retired Great Outdoors stamp set.
The top layer of the happy was die cut three times and adhered together for more dimension. I applied the birthday sentiment block with 3-D foam dots to keep it from blending into the background. A piece of mink twine and a few sequins finish off the card. Super simple card that was customized for the recipient.
