Merry Monday #35

Lesley has a fun sketch over at Merry Monday this week.  I think my new favorite addition to  my cards is banners.  Fairly certain just about everything I have created this past week has had a banner on it!  Here is the original sketch design-

I am sure I will be using this sketch again in the future!  Love the look and the clean lines.  My pattern paper is Jingle, a retired design by Close to My Heart.  All stamps are from the new Ornamental Cheer stamp set.  The retro snowflakes go perfectly with the design in the paper.  I added a little Stickles for interest on my embellishment.

Speaking of Stickles….how do you store yours?  While I am sure many of you have vast collections….my collection is just starting.  I came across this idea some time ago and decided to put it to use in my scrapbook room.

I attached my Stickles to the underside of a shelf with a velcro dot.  They are within reach and I am more likely to use them since I can see them.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

D1520 Ornamental Cheer Stamp Set

Retired Jingle Paper Pack

1385 White Daisy Cardstock

X5752 Juniper Cardstock

Retired Tulip Cardstock

Z2165 Juniper Ink

  2. I never noticed that the snowflake sparkle is so similar to the Jingle paper pack. I still have some of that paper left (guess I bought too much when is was available lol) I just got the Ornamental Cheer set so now i have a plan.
    TFS.
BTW I'd need a much much larger shelf to store my stickles that way lol I have mine in one drawer of a mobile plastic cart -yes one whole drawer. I like your method as is keeps the gel close to the tips. good idea.
