Merry Monday #45

We are back with a sketch challenge this week at Merry Monday!  I seem to be having setbacks getting back into the groove of making Christmas cards…..or maybe it is all of the fun NEW Spring/Summer products I have to play with!  After mulling over numerous stamps to put in the circle shape…I decided to make another ribbon wreath card.  I previously made one here and it was a very popular post.  These are so simple to make and the end result is gorgeous!  I would have loved to use the falling snow embossing folder I keep seeing on everyone’s blogs…but have yet to score one for myself…so polka dots it is!  here is a look at the original sketch-

Here is a close up of the ribbon detailing.  The white double bow was tied with a Bow-Easy.  I know many of you think I am the bow tying queen….but I can barely tie my shoelaces! It was the best $5 I ever spent! I don’t have a source to send you to, if you google Bow-Easy, I am sure you will find numerous places to purchase one from.  They should run you are around $5.

My bling is combination of glitter buttons with a sparkle gem center.  The sparkle gems by Close To My Heart fit perfectly in the buttons in the Bohemian Collection.  Super cute bling in a little package!

I kept the inside clean, with a strip of ribbon for additional detail.

I have entered my card in the following challenges:
