Merry Monday #48

Lesley is mixing things up once again at Merry Monday.  This week we are doing a color challenge.  This one was truly a challenge for me.  Many of the DT members opted to go the snowman route….hence the orange nose.  I decided to go out of the box with an ultra modern Christmas card!  Here is a look at the color scheme.  I chose Sunset, Crystal Blue, and Slate for my colors.

I cut all of the chevrons with a die by MFT and then layered them to make my own background paper.  The peace saying was cut with the Cricut Artiste cartridge.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

Z1790 Cricut Artiste Cartridge

D11520 Ornamental Cheer

1385 White Daisy Cardstock

1292 Crystal Blue Cardstock

X5930 Slate Cardstock

Z1802 Slate Ribbon

Z2117 Crystal Blue Ink

Z1752 Clear Sparkles

Copic Sketch to color sparkles

Chevron Die by MFT

Be sure and stop by the other Merry Maker Blogs to see their creations!

  1. Love this bright and cheery card! I love the polka dots with the chevrons too! This could easily be changed to a birthday card etc. Great and fun idea!

  2. This is such a fabulous Xmas card Allisa – those chevrons really do make it a modern card and work really well with the challenge colours – you're so very clever!
