I am so thankful to be having a three day weekend…..because I am clueless what happened to Saturday and Sunday…..they just flew by! We are back with a new sketch this week at Merry Monday. Once again, I put my pattern paper to work for me on the sketch design! I dug deep into the stash and came up with this pattern paper by Debbie Mum. It was a lonely single sheet of paper. Fortunately it was double sided with a coordinating print! I would not go seeking it out at a craft store near you….I am sure the paper is at least a decade old! One less piece of paper in the stash! Here is the original sketch for you to play along with-
My signature panel on the inside! Great use for those little scraps that you have laying around!
Just about everything on this card was from the stash and mostly long retired.
Papers-Debbie Mum, CTMH Vineyard Berry, Colonial White
Stamps-Retired Pear & Partridge Set, Clearly Sentimental About Christmas-MFT
Inks-Retired Vineyard Berry Ink
Ribbon-Unknown
Dies-MFT
I have entered my card in the following challenges:

Love that paper, Allisa!! I thought that tree was a stamp! So clever and an adorable Christmas card! Happy Memorial Day!
Hugs,

What a great piece of paper. I love the trees and those polka dots in the background.
Just LOVE the scene you created!! Fabulous take on the sketch!
Hi Alisa, I have been following your blog with google reader for at least a year and have seldom commented (there is no place to comment on the reader platform)
So i popped in here to let you know that I just LOVE the way you finish the inside of your cards. (and that you show them to us )
I usually add a sentiment inside of mine but struggle with a way to pretty them up. This is going to be my how-to method from now on , if you don't mind my copying you. It adds such a wonderful connection to the front of the cards.
thanks for the inspiration
Fabulous card Allisa, I love the way you made the paper work for you.
Beautiful! What a fun take on the sketch. I had a chuckle when you said the paper was probably 10 years old! Why does this stuff hide in our stash??
This is a perfect piece of paper for this sketch! The focal tree is gorgeous! I don't know about you but today went by as fast as Saturday and Sunday!
Hi Allisa. Your card for this Merry Monday is so very cute! That paper is perfect! 🙂
Oh, this is so pretty….love those papers and your inside is always as pretty as the outside!
What a sweet patterned paper, it has really stood the test of time! Really pretty card, I love the trees with the pretty ornaments 🙂
I love that you had the patterned paper do all the work. 🙂 Wonderful card!
This card is absolutely beautiful!!!
Way to use that *vintage* paper to create a fabulous holiday card … love the gold sparkly ribbon … so glad you joined us at jingle belles.
Ooh, I love those fun trees and the wonderful snow banks you created. Plus, I am a 'dot' person so I really like that 10 yr. old paper. Great card!
Your cards are always so perfect, inside & out, Allisa! Love that the paper does all the work on this!
Have a wonderful week! 🙂
