Merry Monday July Challenge, Week 2

Have you played along with us this month at Merry Monday?  Our current challenge is running all month long!  Enter any new Christmas card into the challenge and enter as often as you want!  The more times you enter, the more Christmas cards you will have in your stash!

My card was created with one of my favorite stamps from the upcoming Autumn/Winter Idea Book.  It is a single A sized stamp, that you can purchase for only $4 with your hostess rewards!  This set will make creating your Christmas Cards easy peasy!  I can’t wait to stamp it in a multitude of colors…..purple anyone?

Since my image was so simple to make, I decided to add some texture by distressing the edges of my cardstock.  While the vast majority of my cards have super clean lines, it is fun to mix it up on occasion! I inked up the edges of my white embossed background with Pacifica pigment ink.

I kept the inside clean, only adding a strip of shimmer trim for a little bling!

  1. The distressing compliments the woodcut feel of the stamp. Ooh purple would be nice…maybe a little silver? You make me want to get this stamp, lol, but that's the point, right?
