Mojo Monday #275

WooHoo, I finally managed to sneak away to my craft room!  I broke into my NEW Chantilly Workshop on the Go Kit.  Chantilly is a new paper line that is being released by Close To My Heart in the 2013 Spring/Summer Idea Book.  I love the bright sunny colors.  I can only dream of summer though!  In the middle of winter here, with temps in the negative and currently a windchill of 30 below!  I will be so glad to say HELLO to summer! It was fun to play with the bright colors!  My card is based on the sketch challenge this week at Mojo Monday.  Here is the original sketch:

The kit comes with a great stamp set that features a variety of patterns and phrases.  We are also introducing fabric lines that coordinate with the paper packs.  I actually used a piece of the coordinating fabric on my card.  I love having the additional coordinating patterns.

The inside of my card gives you a sneak peek of another new stamp set.  The saying on the inside of my card is from a stamp set called Bright Sunshiny Day.  The set has come great phrases and some awesome beach/summer themed images.  I am sure it will be on your must have list!

  1. Sunshine! Love it so much! I have been playing with the textiles as well and am in love with them. Wondering if you adhered yours to cardstock before you added it? Thanks for sharing, I am very inspired–Chantilly is my favorite new paper!

    • While I wish I had mad sewing skills…they do not seem to exist in my household! I cut a piece of cardstock to the size I wanted, then ran through my Xryon Machine. I then applied the fabric to the cardstock and folded over the edges and glued in place with my ATG gun. Thanks for stopping by!
