Papercraft Star #139

Our challenge theme this week at Papercraft Star is seeds and or garden.  I had the perfect stamp, just waiting to be inked!  My stamp set is from the Buzz & Bumble Workshop on the Go Kit.  The moment I saw the kit, I knew I had to have it…just for this stamp!  Yet, I had not yet found a reason to ink it up!  I was excited to see our challenge theme!  So, this is my first card using the seed packet stamp…of which I am sure you will be seeing more of.  Here is an inspiration photo for you, you can use if you choose for the challenge theme.

I known you have seen many of my creations with the bee
themed paper…this card shows you some of the other patterns that are
included in the Buzz & Bumble paper pack…not a bee to be seen!
The chicken wire background is a background stamp from the
Distressed Backgrounds stamp set.  My seed packet stamp was stamped onto
Colonial White cardstock and colored with Copics.  I then went over the
image with Tim Holtz distress inks to give it an aged look.  To further
the aging process, I distressed and inked the edges in Cocoa ink.  In
keeping with the rustic theme, I added jute ribbon and a wooden button.

I kept the inside blank to leave room for a handwritten sentiment .

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

  4. Allisa I do like the rustic look to this card. I like how you stamped the chicken wire to the designer paper. I often don't think to do that and limit myself by using papers as they are in the pack. Thank you for the inspiration!

    Hugs,
