Papercraft Star #140

We have a super easy challenge this week at Papercraft Star…Use a Stamp!  No excuses, everyone needs to come join in! I took the liberty of creating yet another Bee card.  I mixed it up a little by adding a new cut from the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  I have yet to even come close to trying out all of the shapes on the cartridge! Here is a gorgeous inspiration photo for you, use if you choose!

I stamped my image in Cocoa pigment ink and then embossed with clear powder.  I added a bit of color with a blending pen and Goldrush ink.

My card is based on the sketch challenge this week at Sketch N Stash.  At Sketch N Stash, they want to see your newest or most neglected supplies.  If you have been following my blog for any amount of time, you know the bee theme is not neglected!  But, I have used it soo much….that I recently had to replenish my paper pack!  So, my newest item is MORE Buzz & Bumble paper.  I also recently picked up the Carmel Jute Twine…….what can I say, looked like burlap to me!   Here is the original sketch-

I added a few layers to the inside as well as sponged on Cocoa ink the edges for more definition.  The pigment inks are great for sponging the edges of your cardstock.  They give a soft inked look, vs the stark contrast of the dye inks.
