Papercraft Star #143

Our challenge this week at Papercraft Star is all about Lace & Polka Dots.  The timing could not have been better.  I just received a yummy pack of October Afternoon embellishments in the mail….which had the lovely lace trim that you see above! Here is the inspiration photo, which is use if you choose!

My card is based on the sketch challenge this week at Retro Sketches.  I followed the basic design and added my lace trim to the top panel.

My lace trim came in a single row….I layered three rows to mimic the bedskirt in the inspiration photo.  I really like the soft look that it gives to the card.

I left the inside blank to use as a notecard.  I stamped my bird cage in second generation ink to give it a soft look.

  2. This card is wonderful. It´s so beautiful. I love the design and the lace and how you stamped the bird cage to give it a softer look.

Thank you for sharing with us a Crafty Catz this week. Is maybe me but I can´t see so much purple or is the photo giving me the wrong impression of the papers colour?

  5. Alissa, this is so cute with all those layers of lace and polka dots. It definitely meets our challenge at The Perfect Sentiments. I have that CTMH stamp and have used the Slate ink, too – very soft!
