Papercraft Star-Let the Sun Shine!

I had the honor of picking the challenge theme this week at Papercraft Star.  I am so ready to see the sun shine!  In honor of the hopefully upcoming summer months, we want to see your creations featuring a sun!

I decided to make my card all about the sun!  I picked up the super cute Sweet Surprises card kit off the while supplies last section, which featured the chipboard sun and treat cups.  I went more with a shaker card by featuring coordinating beads.  I thought of doing candy, but liked the idea of the beads for a fun look.  My background was stamped with the Patterned Pennants stamp set.  Super easy card to make!

You know I had to finish out the inside as well!  While I normally add a strip of pattern paper to the inside of my cards….I created all of the paper on this card.  I carried over the theme by staggering the pennant stamps along the bottom of the inside panel.
