Party Girl

How cute is the Party Girl stamp set? While, I love the girl in the party dress….I am all about the cute little dog and cat that are included in the set! This set is one of five that has been released to celebrate National Scrapbooking Day. Close To My Heart is hosting a two day Facebook Live Event on April 30-May 1 to celebrate. This exclusive stamp set is part of the Party Girl Scrapbooking Workshop. While, Close To My Heart will be creating layouts during the event, cards were the perfect occasion to use the supplies for me! Here is a look at everything that is included-

To create my card, I started by stamping the Party Girl image directly onto my white panel. I then stamped an additional image onto the gold foil printed paper. I fussy cut her shoes, dress and hair bow and adhered them to my stamped image. The rest of the image was colored with Copics. I stamped the balloon image three times and fussy cut those out as well. Lastly the cute little dog was stamped onto White Daisy cardstock with Intense Black ink and fussy cut. The balloon and dog were adhered with 3-D foam tape for added dimension. The top balloon strings were hand drawn, while the bottom string was stamped. I totally went out of my comfort zone and doodled a border around the card! A few strips of ribbon complete the card.
