Peace on Earth

Who all participated in some retail therapy in Stamptember? I might be a wee bit exhausted from all of the new releases! Soo many stamps, soo little time! With Christmas on the horizon, I added a few new Christmas sets to my collection. I fell in love with the simplicity of the Peace on Earth cutting plate by Taylored Expressions. I have seen this die used in soo many ways. While I do plan to do some pops of color in the future, I am loving this all white creation.

This card was super easy to create and a touch of vellum brings it up a notch. I started by die cutting two panels of White Daisy cardstock. I then glued a sheet of vellum between the two images. I stamped my sentiment in Blue Sapphire onto a vellum strip and heat embossed in clear. I really struggled with going with a silver or blue sentiment. I am sure you will be seeing silver in the future! I wrapped the edges of the vellum sentiment panel around the card base, so no gluing necessary. Super simple, but striking in person. Perfect for mass production!

Design Tip: You can heat emboss with your favorite die inks on vellum. The ink sits on the surface similar to pigment inks, giving you time to apply embossing powder.
