Pemberley Birthday Card

The DT at Freshly Made Sketches has come up with another great sketch this week.  Their sketches are so versatile.  If you happen to be in a card making slump…I highly recommend looking through their archives!  Here is the sketch my card is based on-

This card is going in my Birthday Card stash, so the inside has been stamped as well.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted.

Design Tip-The flower is part of the Card Word Puzzle Stamp Set.  I stamped the flower twice on the Pemberley B&T paper.  I then cut the images out.  I cut out the layers on one image with an Exacto knife and then mounted the cut image on the other pre-cut flower.  This gives some added dimension to the flower.

I have also entered this card in the following challenges:

Critter Sketch Create a project using 3 Embellishments

Stampin’ Sisters in Christ-Your Style

Stamptacular Sunday-Diamonds or Pearls (I prefer Diamonds)
