This is take two of creating slimline cards with the Vintage Christmas papers from Simple Stories. When I first received the papers in the Simon Says Stamp Holiday Card Kit, I was not sure what I was going to do with them. They came in a 6×8 paper pad with rather large designs that were really not going to work for an A2 size card. Cutting the paper in half and pairing the paper with the Slimline Shaker dies by Close To My Heart was the perfect fit.
I added a few Vintage Christmas Bits & Pieces to the panel for a little more Christmas feel. I went with less sequins in this one for the shaker portion as I felt the card from yesterday had a bit much! While it is hard to see in the photos, I went over the woodgrain areas of the panel with a clear shimmer brush for a bit more bling.
Creating Slimline Shaker cards is super easy when you pair the shaker dies with the Slimline Shaker Window Foam & Acetate. These cards came together in minutes! I would have never thought I would be mass producing shaker cards for Christmas. I have went from what am I going to do with a 6×8 paper pad, to where can I get more!
