Season of Thanks

Happy World Cardmaking Day! I actually sat down and created some cards today! With any luck the house cleaning fairies stopped by while I was creating, by I have my doubts! With Fall in the air, I love creating with the Crisp Air Collection. This collection retired at the end of September, but there are still some supplies left. I created this card based on the color challenge at Color Throwdown.

All of the featured colors can be found in the Crisp Air Collection. My card is super simple to create. The card is created with a few Crisp Air PML cards and a couple of layers of cardstock. I started by heat embossing my sentiment in gold on one of the smaller PML cards. A little gold splatter from a gold shimmer brush adds a little bit more bling. I then did a little fussy cutting to allow parts of the images to overlap my frame. This frame was mounted onto the water colored background PML card, which was matted to a Sapphire card base. A few gold glitter gems finish off the card. Super simple and versatile. The card can easily be used as a Thank You card or for Thanksgiving.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

  • X7284D Crisp Air PML Cards (sadly, they sold out as I posted this!)
  • X5957 Sapphire Cardstock
  • X6033 Paprika Cardstock
  • Z891 Versamark Stamp Pad
  • Z2066 Gold Embossing Powder
  • Z3312 Gold Glitter Gems
  • Z3316 Gold Shimmer Brush
  • Stitched Rectangle Frames-Retired

I have also entered my card in the following challenges:

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you are enjoying some crafting time this weekend!
