I was so excited to see my card picked as a Winner last week at Sketch Saturday! The sketches at Sketch Saturday are always a great way to start a card. As an added bonus, they usually tend to follow my style of lots of layers with clean stamping. My craft room might stay a mess, but I prefer my cards clean! Here is a look at the sketch if you would like to play along-
My card was created with the Sweet Girl papers and complements by Close To My Heart. Most of my creations with this paper pack have been pink themed…..but no pink in sight today! The papers are double sided, so you usually just need to flip the paper over to get a new look! My Thank You sentiment is from one of my favorite past sets, that is making a come back! Say It in Style has to be one of the most versatile sentiment stamp sets! I don’t recall when it first came out, but it is coming back on September 1! Here is the complete set, 41 stamps in all!
I love the variety of fonts and they are the perfect size for card making! You will be available to order the set on my website September 1, with the upcoming new catalog release!
Design Tip: I adhered my complements with 3-D foam to add more dimension to my card. My bow is tied with Sapphire Crochet Thread and adhered with Liquid Glass. Liquid Glass is a must have in your crafting tool box! It dries super strong and clear. The majority of my cards are mailed and I never skimp on adhesives….I want them to arrive as they left!
