Sketch Saturday #606

I am taking full advantage of a little stamping time to catch up on some of my favorite challenges and create a stash of graduation cards!  My card is based on the sketch challenge at Sketch Saturday

My card is based on our school colors of green and gold.  I started with a panel of  Evergreen cardstock and added a 2″ strip of Saffron cardstock.  I then die cut the panel with a stitched rectangle frame and embossed the panel to follow the sketch.  My graduation cap stamp was inked in Intense Black ink and then color added with Prismacolor pencils. The cap was applied with 3-D foam tape for added dimension.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

  1. What a great congratulations card! The diagonal is striking, as are the bold colours, and draw the eye straight to the sentiment. I like the embossing you've added too. Thanks for playing along with us at Retro Rubber Challenge.
