Have you checked out the gorgeous new products yet? So much to love! The Spruced Up line is my fav! I love absolutely everything in it! You are sure to see a lot of it over the next two months! I am starting off with the Spruced Up Cardmaking Workshop Kit. I so love the Workshop Kits! My love for them is the unique stamp and dies that are included in the Kits. The Kits come with materials and instructions to create twelve cards. You get a cutting diagram and full color sample photos to guide you along. The kits are perfect for the beginner and experienced crafter. I’ll be honest, I rarely create the “kit cards”. I beat to my own drummer. Do I use all the supplies? Absolutely, just in a different form! This card is one example. I created my card based on the sketch challenge at Inspire.Create. Challenges.
I used the kit contents, just created my own unique card. The kits are an awesome assortment of coordinating products that will either walk you through projects or you can create your own creations. Here is a look at the kit contents-
For my card, I inked up my images with Intense Black ink. I then colored my images with Prismacolor pencils, shaded with Gamsol. I die cut my floral and banner images. I then popped them up with 3-D foam on my card for added dimension. I love the Sending Comfort sentiment, you can use this is so many ways! It could easily be a Get Well or Sympathy card. I did have a little helper today, he posed ever so cute, while taking up my precious desk space! Meet Chester, who definitely beats to his own drummer!
