Spruced Up Thank You

Winter was quick to remind us this morning, that she is still here!  I do love snow….as long as I do not have to go anywhere….which was not the case this morning!  Thankfully the storm was brief.  I am back in the craft room this afternoon with a quick Thank You card for the MFT Sketch Challenge

I thought the sketch was a perfect time to use the Spruced Up Cardmaking Stamp Set. This card was super easy for me to put together…in part because I had pre-stamped my images.  When I have a stamp set with coordinating Thin Cuts, I will often stamp and cut numerous images at once.  I then place the duplicate images in the storage envelope with my stamps and dies.  This makes it super simple to create a new project, without having to reink and stamp the images again.

I layered my foliage and bird for added dimension.  The overall card is still pretty flat to allow for easy mailing.  Too many embellishments, will have you paying the package rate to mail your cards! I trimmed some of the images to fit the circle dies and allowed some to hang over the edge.  I added a bit of silver embellishing thread across the top for a tiny bit of bling. Here is a look at the complete stamp set, which is available with or without the Thin Cut dies.
