Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  We will be featuring February’s SOTM, Thoughtful Tidings, a set of 11 stamps.  If you have come here from Nicole’s Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants here.

This month we over 60 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month’s SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do – just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

Thoughtful Tidings is a set of eleven stamps.  Six of the stamps have coordinating Cricut images.  The coordinating Cricut images make matting a breeze! This card was created with a variety of Close To My Heart products, which will all be available to order 2/1/12!  The new Spring/Summer catalog goes live on 2/1/12!  I can’t wait to share all of the new products with you.  All supplies by Close To My Heart:

Z1686 Cricut Art Philosophy

G1033 WOTG Pemberley Kit

S1202 Thoughtful Tidings SOTM

C1494 Card Word Puzzle

Z2118 Desert Sand Ink

Z2130 Indian Corn Blue Ink

Z2140 Outdoor Denim Ink

Z1732 Seam Binding Ribbon

Z1708 Sparkles Flourishes

Design Tips-The top pattern paper was created by stamping the floral stamp from the Card Word Puzzle set with Desert Sand Ink onto Vanilla Cream Cardstock.

The seam binding ribbon was colored by sponging on Outdoor Denim Ink.

The flower is from page 70 of the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge.  I cut the flower at 3 5/8”.  I sponged on Indian Corn Blue ink and inked the edges of the flower.  The flower was rolled with a quilling tool.  The leaves are fussy cut from a piece of B&T that is included in the WOTG Pemberley Kit.

The saying was cut with the shape from page 67 of the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  The top layer was cut at 2 ¼”, the mat was cut at 2 3/8”.

This card is based on this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch #226.I chose the square version at 5″ x 5″ for my cardbase.

Here is a sampling of other projects by Close To My Heart-
