Sunday Stamps #230

I always plan on having a supply of sympathy cards…..it seems they are often mailed out as soon as they are made.  I kept this one on the simple side, following the sketch challenge at Sunday Stamps

I so  love the look of water colors……but so struggle with just letting them be!  The new A Million Little Things stamp set is perfect for watercoloring! The flowers are loosely sketched, so the free flowing color is the perfect match!  Here is a look at the complete stamp set-

To create my card, I stamped my flower image onto watercolor paper with black pigment ink and embossed in clear.  I added in watercolor and some splatters with Kuretake watercolors. Those that know me, should be proud….I managed those splatters all by myself without splattering my whole desk in the process!   I am really a clean stamper…the struggle is real for any type of mixed media!  My sentiment was stamped in Versamark onto black cardstock and embossed in white.  I added in details with stitched dies and dry embossing my panel.

  2. This is a perfectly designed Sympathy card. What beautiful stamp designs, too – I love them. I love the simplicity of your design, which makes it suitable for many different types of person. Sadly, I've sent too many of those lately and am about to attend an 'online funeral' now.
God bless you and keep you safe!
