Sweet Little Things

How sweet are these bunny stamps? The name of the set, Sweet Little Things, is so fitting! All of the images are adorable. Sweet Little Things is the January Stamp of the Month. This set is only available to purchase in the month of January. You can add the set to a qualifying order for $5 or earn the set for free as a VIP member. Not yet a VIP member and want to learn more? My card is based on the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. The card design came instantly in my head when I saw the sketch……the only problem is, I pictured it in watercolor. I so need more practice with watercolors. I love the look, but artist, I am not! I still think the card turned out cute, just not like I pictured it to start with! Oh, how often that happens. Here is the original sketch design-

To create my card, I started by stamping my images with Black Pigment ink onto watercolor paper. I embossed the images in clear embossing powder. I much prefer to stamp in black and emboss in clear. No worries about stray black embossing powder! Color was added with Kuretake watercolors. I used the watercolors to create the block featured in the sketch. After the panel was dry, it was die cut with a stitched rectangle panel die and mounted onto Saddle cardstock.
