Thanksgiving Wreath

I had so much fun creating this card! I need to give a long belated shout out to Stamp Simply. They graciously sponsor challenges at Word Art Wednesday and I was the lucky recipient of one of their stamp sets. I instantly fell in love with their Seasonal Wreaths line. This set is perfect for fall and winter cards! My card is created based on the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches

My original stamp image included two pumpkins and the sketch calls for three elements. I stamped an additional cluster of pumpkins and fussy cut a pumpkin to add to my wreath to follow along with the sketch design. I adhered the pumpkins with 3-D foam tape for added dimension.

My images were stamped with Espresso ink and colored with Copics. The Seasonal Wreath stamp set is available with coordinating dies, which makes popping up your images super simple! I am all about inking up new supplies, so my sentiment is from the Studio Katia Stamptember stamp set. The sentiment was die cut three times and stacked together for additional dimension. A tiny touch of bling was added with a gold shimmer brush. Enamel dots were added to complete a row for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge with Die Cuts, Orange and Enamel Dots.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

  • Seasonal Wreath Fall/Winter Stamp Set w/Dies-Stamp Simply
  • Grateful Florals Stamp/Die Set (Sentiment)-Studio Katia
  • Naturals Cardstock-Retired
  • Z2829 Espresso Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad
  • Z3316 Gold Shimmer Brush
  • Copic Sketch Markers
  • Weathered Embossing Folder-Taylored Expressions
  • Stitched Panel Die-MFT
