The Paper Players #439 Sketch Challenge

My last minute entry for The Paper Players Sketch Challenge this week! I soo missed out last week on the paper piecing challenge!  I had the perfect stamp set….but not the perfect craft time!  I had new papers calling my name, so I made some time to craft this morning!  My card is created with the freshly released True Love paper pack.  I am a huge fan of purple, so these papers caught my eye!  I love the bold bright colors!  Here is a look at the complete paper pack-

I went with Eggplant as my main color, and Sugarplum as my accent color. I have a very limited selection of Mother’s Day stamps and a large number of cards to create.  I wanted my sentiment to stand out a little more, so I framed it with coordinating flowers.  My flower border was created with the small accent flower in the May Stamp of the Month, To My Bestie. I stamped the flower in Sugarplum ink and then added Eggplant to the center with my ink pad and a waterbrush.  I just barely moistened my waterbrush.  I then picked up ink from the lid of my ink pad to color in the centers of the flowers.  If you have yet to see the May Stamp of the Month, it is totally a must have-

I popped up my sentiment panel with 3-D foam dots.  I finished my card off with some twine and sequins for a little bling!
