The Paper Players #476

Claire has a theme challenge for us this week at The Paper Players!  The theme is Love is in the Air.  With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, this is the perfect time to create a card for the challenge! My kids are past the days of handing out Valentine’s at school, so I have minimal Valentine themed stamps in my stash. Thankfully, I do have my Close To My Heart Cricut Collections!  I found the heart cluster in the Cricut Artbooking Collection and sized it down to fit my card.  I cut the heart border at 2.276″ x 5.184″, just in case you want to re-create it.  If you missed out on the Artbooking Collection when it was in cartridge form,  you are in luck!  All of the Close To My Heart Cricut Collections have been brought back in digital form.  You can purchase them from my affiliate link and get instant access and no shipping charges!

I thought the grey plaid was perfect for a more masculine Valentine card.  It also played in nicely with the color challenge at Color Throwdown

And lastly, my card is based on the sketch challenge at MFT Stamps
