The Paper Players #482

Tulips so give me the vision of Spring.  The only problem is, you will not find any growing naturally in Wyoming at the moment, as the snow is still flying!  Spring has sprung in other parts of the world though!  In celebration, Joanne is having a Spring Flowers theme challenge at The Paper Players this week!

I love the watering can full of tulips featured in the Where Happiness Blooms stamp set.  This stamp set features three layers, allowing you to easily create colorful blooms.  I often stamp my images in the three layers and then go back and add details with Prismacolor pencils. The pencils allow you to add more depth to the image.  Here is a look at the complete stamp set, with coordinating Thin Cut dies-

After stamping and coloring my image.  I added in a few details.  I stamped the small heart in the set in Pixie ink and fussy cut to adhere to my watering can.  A small piece of Mink twine was adhered to the can with Liquid Glass adhesive.

My card was created based on the sketch challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.  I placed my watering can against a vellum circle die and add in a few banners along the bottom.  The heart printed paper is from the Craft On Paper Collection, which is still available in the Online Only Section.  If you have not checked out the Online Only section lately, Close To My Heart has added in tons of new stamps! You can check out all of the products here.

I also took inspiration from the Photo Inspiration Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More

My colors are from the Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge, Mink Grey with Sweet Leaf and Pixie-
