Anne Marie is hosting a Clean and Simple Challenge this week with a Sparkle theme at The Paper Players! In keeping with the CAS, I decided to go with my sparkly unicorns. The sparkle sentiment totally works as well!
My card is created with the super fun Unicorn Dreams stamp set with coordinating Thin Cuts. I have always been an avid horse fan, so unicorns are a close second. My favorite part about this set, is I feel I can add some color to the mane and tail and call it done! The cards come together super fast! Here is a look at the complete set-
To create my card, I started with a die cut panel of White Daisy Cardstock. I sponged on some pink clouds with Ballerina ink. Let’s face it, if we can have unicorns, we can have pink clouds too! I stamped my sentiment and diamonds in Thistle ink. My unicorn was stamped in Intense Black ink and then a touch of color added with Copic markers. I added in some sparkle with a Shimmer Brush pen. My photos don’t do the sparkle justice! A few bitty sparkles finishes off the card.
My card is based on the sketch challenge at AAA Cards. It is a CAS Challenge with the optional twist of it flies.
