The Paper Players #488

Laurie is having a sketch challenge this week at The Paper Players!  The sketch was perfect to bring you a sneak peek of new products to come! This gorgeous flower stamp is part of A Million Little Things stamp set, which will be released in May! I am far from a flower expert, but decided to go with a variation of Black Eyed Susan.  If I am totally wrong on the type of flower this stamp represents, please feel free to leave me a comment!  Regardless, I am sure you will see many variations of colors on this stamp set to come!  Here is the original sketch design, so you can come play along-

I started my card by stamping my floral image onto a 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ panel of White Daisy cardstock in Intense Black ink.  I then added in color with Prismacolor pencils and blended with Gamsol.  My thanks sentiment was die cut three times in black and adhered together with Liquid Glass for added dimension.  A few enamel dots finish off the panel.  The panel was matted in black and adhered to a embossed panel of Saffron cardstock, which is also matted in black. Here is a sneak peek of the new stamp set to come!
