Time for a new challenge at The Paper Players! Anne Marie is hosting a theme challenge, Sunshine & Rainbows. I could certainly use some sunshine! The weather has turned dark and dreary here…not to mention we are back in the 30’s for temps! So, yes….bring on the sunshine!
I took the challenge quite literally….I just so happened to have new stamps on my desk…with sunshine and rainbows! I managed to incorporate three new stamp sets into my CAS card! It is the perfect card to bring a little dose of cheer in the mailbox!
My rainbow is from the Blue Skies stamp set. The rainbow is actually three different stamps. To get my rainbow of colors, I first inked up my lighter color, then rolled my stamp into the darker colored ink on each of the stamps. I seriously gave some thought to stamp surgery and separating each of the rings. In the end, I decided that blending the inks together would be a much easier approach!
My cute little sunshine is from the Beautiful Day stamp set. I love that all of these stamp images have coordinating Thin Cuts. I just might have stamp/die addiction going on!
