The Paper Players #495

Happy Sunday!  Time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!  Laurie is hosting a color challenge this week.  The featured colors are Real Red, Tranquil Teal and Basic Grey.  I changed these up to Close To My Heart colors of Candy Apple, Lagoon and Pewter.

I have been seriously slacking this year in getting my Christmas cards completed.  I normally try and complete at least one Christmas card a week….and that has so not been happening! The colors totally work for a slightly non-traditional Christmas card.  The gorgeous ornaments in the For the Tree stamp set, can totally stand alone!  I stamped my image in Pewter ink and then added color with Copic markers. My ornament was then cut with the coordinating OrnamentThin Cuts.  I applied my ornament with 3-D foam tape to my embossed background for added dimension. A double bow in pewter finishes off the card.

If you would like to get started on  your Christmas cards, there is a variety of Christmas stamps available in the Online Only section of my website. It is never too early to get started, which is why I try to create my Christmas cards all year long!

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:
