The Paper Players #497

Time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!  Claire is hosting a sketch challenge this week.  All products are welcome, and we can’t wait to see how you interpret the sketch!  Here is the original sketch design-

I went with a splash of color for simple thank you card.  My floral panel was created with the A Million Little Things stamp set.  I love the floral images in this set and of course the splatter stamps!  I can actually create splatters without splattering my desk in the process! I inked my images in Intense Black ink and then added color with Copics.

In keeping with the sketch design, I stamped my floral image twice at slightly staggered heights and added in a few splatters for interest.  A pop of yellow was added with embossed cardstock from the Blue Skies Collection.  Burlap twine was used as a stand in for the vertical strip in the sketch.  Everything was pulled together with a stitched frame. The stitched frame was applied with 3-D foam tape to account for the bulk that was added with the layers and burlap twine.
