Happy Sunday everyone! It is time for a new challenge at The Paper Players! LeAnne is hosting a color challenge this week. The featured colors are Smokey Slate, So Saffron and Seaside Spray.
In the future, I might want to turn the lights on in my craft room when pulling my colors! At the time I created my card, Mink, Sunkiss Yellow and Glacier appeared to be a good match. In the end, Mink was perfect…..while Sunkiss Yellow and Glacier seems to be in a totally different hue! While I might have slightly failed in the color challenge, the colors still totally work for a baby card! My card was created based on the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches–
I promise the sketch is included in my card, I just added a few things on top of it! To create my card, I cut cardstock to match the sketch and then dry embossed the whole panel after cutting with a stitched panel die. A few stitched frames were added on top to showcase my sweet elephant stamp. I struggled with my sentiment placement, so added a tab on the side for my congrats. The elephant was colored with Prismacolor pencils, blended with Gamsol. A few sequins finish off the design.

This is such a sweet baby card and I love your take on the sketch. The elephant and balloons are absolutely darling! The colors seem fine because not everyone has SU paper or even close matches. Super cute card, Allisa!
