The Paper Players #518

Time for a new challenge at The Paper Players! LeAnne is hosting a sketch challenge this week. This sketch is perfect for using up some of your scraps!  I tend to keep any scrap over 1″  in size…..you just never know when you will need them!  Here is a look at the original sketch design-

To create my card, I used a few strips of 1″ pattern paper from the Comfort & Joy paper line.  I followed along with the sketch design with fairly random pieces.  I cut an additional poinsettia out of the pattern paper to use as an accent.  I popped up the poinsettia with 3-D foam tape and added some Liquid Pearls to the center. A few bitty sequins finish off the card.

All supplies by Close To My Heart:

  • D1891 For the Tree Stamp Set

  • 1385 White Daisy Cardstock
  • Z6509 Candy Apple Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad

  6. This is just lovely Allisa! So true, a great way to use up your scraps and when they are as well co-ordinated as this it looks as if it's made with anything but leftovers! Love the extra poinsettia too. A great card!
