Joanne is hosting a theme challenge this week at The Paper Players! Our new theme is It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! You are running out of time to get your holiday cards out in the mail!
Creating a Christmas wreath with the Serenity Cardmaking Stamp Set has been high on my to do list. While the majority of my Serenity Christmas creations have been in the blue tones, I decided to go with the traditional red and green. I love the 3-D effects of the wreath set, such a unique feature! Here is a close up of the leaf details-
I am normally a stamp and then die cut person. With this set, I highly recommend die cutting and then stamping. After stamping your image, you can lift up the leaf petals for a 3-D effect. I hole punched circles out of glitter paper for a little added bling. My bow is popped up with 3-D foam tape for added dimension. The sentiment is from the Craft with Heart cardmaking subscription. Here is a look at the complete Serenity Cardmaking Stamp Set–
My 3-D wreath is mounted onto a panel of White Daisy cardstock cut with the Stitched Lattice Background Thin Cut. The panel is backed with Candy Apple cardstock. Super easy card to mass produce!
