The Paper Players #521

So excited for the new challenge at The Paper Players!  Claire is hosting a color challenge this week.  We want to see  your creations with Silver, Black and White.  Lately, I have been drawn to creating Christmas cards in black.  Not my normal tone, but they are so elegant and the black really makes your colors pop.

My card was created with the new Elegant Snowflakes stamp set.  I inked up almost every stamp in the set!

The hardest part of my card, was deciding which snowflakes would be white and which silver!  I laid out my card and inked up my snowflakes and sentiment with Versamark and then heat embossed in white.  I added in more snowflakes and embossed in silver. When I created this card in my mind, I imagined white paint splatters around my snowflakes. The reality is, I could not find my white paint anywhere!  I still wanted the look, so I added bitty sequins in silver and white dots with Liquid Pearls.  My panel was die cut and popped up with 3-D foam tape for more dimension. I so love the end result!
