The Paper Players #556

The Paper Players is having a Tic Tac Toe Challenge this week. I was really torn on which way I wanted to go with the challenge. I was really leaning towards the masculine card, as I seem to never have enough of those…..but new stamps were calling my name, so I went with feminine, friendship and square!

In case you haven’t heard the news, Close To My Heart released an all new product line on September 1! In September we get a new annual core catalog as well as a seasonal bi monthly catalog! So there are literally TONS of new products to choose from. We all love to play with new stamps, so say Hello to Ooh La La Macarons! This super cute set is currently only available to order as a stamp set, but the coordinating Thin Cut set will be in stock soon. Honestly, this image was super easy to fussy cut! Here is a look at the complete set-

My card is super simple to create. My base is 5″ x 5″ in size and is created with the new Mulberry cardstock. I chose a coordinating plaid from the As You Grow Collection. My macarons and sentiment were stamped in Intense Black ink. I colored my macarons with Prismacolor pencils, blended with Gamsol. The macaron image was fussy cut and applied with 3-D foam tape for added dimension. I couldn’t resist a little bling, so a little shimmer was added to the macarons with a clear shimmer brush. A few sequins finish off the card.
