Thinking of You

I don’t have the word to express my new love of alcohol ink backgrounds! I purchased a Tim Holtz starter kit, literally years ago!  I kept seeing the most awesome backgrounds in blogland, so I finally took the box off the shelf!  Now, I NEED all the inks!  I want ALL the colors! This fun technique literally takes just minutes to create.  Plus, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the backgrounds dry.  They literally dry as you are creating them.  One of my biggest complaints about most mixed media is the drying time required, that is basically non-existent with alcohol inks! I didn’t want to cover up my gorgeous background, so I went with super simple stamping. I added in a few tiny details with a gold Uniball pen.  My detailed dragonfly is from the current Stamp of the Month, Winged Masterpiece.  Here is a look at the complete set-

This stunning stamp set is only available to purchase in the month of March.  You can add the set to a qualifying order for only $5!  VIP members can earn the set for FREE! You can find all the details here.
