Watercolor Sympathy

I stepped outside of my box for this card.  The stamps are from the September Sentiment Kit by Unity.  In the rebuilding of my craft room….I am in serious need of sentiment stamps.  All too apparent by many recent cards incorporating printed sentiments.  I would so rather apply ink to paper with a stamp than manipulate an image to match my card. If you happen to be new to Unity Stamps, they are made of red rubber with a cling mount. I am a huge clear stamp fan….so inking up red rubber was a stretch for me.  I must say I am spoiled by being able to see exactly where I am going to stamp my image. I love the crisp images, but so need the x-ray vision!  I stamped my images in black pigment ink and clear embossed on a watercolor panel.  I then colored my image and background with Jane Davenport Mermaid Markers…..which was another step out of my box.  Still undecided if I like them or not…..practice, practice, practice comes to mind. 🙂
