Calling all cat lovers! The super fun Cattitude stamp set is for you! I love just about all furry animals, with emphasis on the furry. My cats outnumber all the other pets in the household. While it is hard to beat a great dog…..cats are so self sufficient! As long as the food bowl is full, the cats are happy. Food bowl is empty? Well, mutiny is about to take place! My card is based on the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge–
The moment I saw the sketch, I knew I was going to ink up the Cattitude stamp set. But, then what? I inked up the large background stamp in Intense Black ink and then die cut three rectangles with the Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts dies. I decided to play along with a couple of color challenges and go with a whimsical look for my kitties. I colored the kitties with Copics and then mounted my rectangles on coordinating cardstock. At first I was going to mount my rectangles on a white stitched panel, but thought the card needed more pop! I took inspiration from Linda Callahan’s card to create my distress oxide background. The rectangles were popped up with 3-D foam tape for added dimension. I finished off the card with a black embossed sentiment.
If the CattitudeStamp set is new to you, here is a look at the complete set. The large stamp is A2 sized. You can also just use parts of the stamps, as I have done with this card.
