Atlantic Hearts Sketch #417

How cut is this little koala?  This adorable stamp is part of the Sending You Hugs Workshop Kit.  It is one of five kits released for the National Scrapbooking Day Celebration.  Close To My Heart is hosting a two day Facebook Live event on April 30-May 1 to celebrate.  My card is created based on the new sketch challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge–

Being totally honest…..I almost passed on this kit.  While I think it is super cute, it was almost too cute for my particular style.  After doing the math though, I could basically get this kit for free by purchasing the bundle! There are five kits available, if you purchase the bundle, you save 30% off the retail price.  The savings more than paid for this kit!  I am so glad that I purchased the bundle, because this stamp set has won me over!  Here is a look at the complete kit-

The hardest part of creating my card was picking which image to ink up!  I inked up the koala in Intense Black ink and added color with Copics.  The image was super easy to fussy cut.  I then applied 3-D foam tape to the back for added dimension.  My pattern paper strips are cut at 1 1/4″. A layered fishtail banner was cut in White Daisy and Blue Belle.  The sentiment was added with coordinating Blue Belle ink.  A few Blue Belle pearls finish off the card. Super simple and super cute!
