Tis the Season for holiday creations! I always have big plans for holiday crafting and quickly run out of time. Honestly I should just keep crafting into January, so I will have all the crafts done for the next year! My card today is based on the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches–
My card is created with help from the new Christmas Story Collection. I honestly am not a sticker fan in general…..but I so love the detailed sticker sheets that Close To My Heart releases with their paper packs. I love that they are color coordinated and match perfectly with the paper line. If you still are not a sticker fan, you can purchase the paper pack without the sticker sheet as well. Here is a look at the complete set-
To create my card, I created a card base out of Candy Apple cardstock. I die cut a stitched panel from the coordinating Mix In paper pack. A 2 3/4″ strip of cardstock was cut for the center stripe. The sentiment was stamped in Candy Apple ink onto a French Vanilla stitched circle and matted in Candy Apple cardstock. 3-D foam was applied to the back of the poinsettia and leaves for added dimension. A few gold glitter gems finish off the card. Super simple with little details to make the card pop!
