Make the Cards Challenge #25

We are back with a new challenge this week at Make the Cards! This week, we are having a 3-2-1 Challenge. Your creation should have 3 flowers, 2 ladybugs and 1 sunshine.

I usually plan my cards out in my head, prior to putting them to paper! In my vision, I was anticipating having sunflowers against a sunray background. Only problem, is when I made it to the craft room….no sun ray stencil or die to be found! I certainly have them….just not where they should have been. I switched to plan B and decided my sentiment would stand in for the sunshine!

To create my card, I started with a Bloom with Grace PML card. The original card had four sunflowers. I fussy cut the image down to three to go along with the challenge. The fussy cut image was applied to a white cardstock panel and then die cut with a stitched panel die. While it is hard to tell in the photos, I used a clear shimmer brush on the sunflowers for a little extra bling. I have had these little wooden ladybugs in my stash for years and this was the perfect time to use them! My sentiment is from the new Wander Cardmaking Collection and is stamped in Intense Black ink. The completed panel was mounted onto a Fern cardstock base.
