Make the Cards Challenge #37

We have a new challenge for you at Make the Cards Challenge! In the spirit of the Halloween season, we want to see your Halloween witch creations! This turned out to be quite the challenge for me…..as it seems there is not a witch to be had in my stamp collection! I know at one time I had a super cool witch stamp….but it must have been passed on! I am thinking it found a new home since it is so rare for me to use a witch stamp!

After determining that no witch stamp existed in my collection, I turned to my Cricut to save the day! After selecting my witch image, I then set out to create my background. I started with a panel of White Daisy cardstock and added Distress Oxides in Black Soot, Seedless Preserves and Chipped Sapphire. I added in some White Gloss Spray for a star effect. My moon seemed a little too bright, so I sponged in some clouds with Black Soot. I think I might have went a little overboard on the clouds, considering the amount of stars in my background…let’s just say the witch just happened to hit a bank of clouds on an otherwise clear night! My sentiment is from the Boo Crew Collection.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:
